Welcome to Stars Company. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stars Company website, our learning platform, cohort programs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), operated by Empire Platforms LLP (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

To participate in our programs, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian. When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

2. Program Enrollment and Payments

Access to our cohort programs (Campus, Data Science, UI/UX Design) requires successful application and subsequent payment of the stated tuition fees.

• Pricing: All fees are stated in the respective currency displayed at checkout. We reserve the right to change our pricing tiers at any time, but price changes will not affect past purchases.
• Payment Processing: We use secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Razorpay). We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled strictly according to our separate Refund Policy. Please review it before enrolling.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (including but not limited to curriculum materials, video lectures, code repositories, UI/UX assignments, and platform design), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Empire Platforms LLP and its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our course materials without our prior written consent. Sharing your account access or curriculum materials with non-enrolled individuals will result in immediate termination without refund.

4. Code of Conduct

Stars Company maintains a strict standard of excellence and professionalism. While using our Services and interacting in our community Discord or live sessions, you agree not to:

• Engage in any form of cheating, plagiarism, or passing off others’ code/designs as your own during assignments or evaluations.
• Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, or intimidate fellow students, mentors, or staff members.
• Submit malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to damage or disrupt our platform.
• Use the platform to solicit or spam other students with unauthorized commercial communications.

5. Placement Assistance Disclaimer

While our “Elite” tiers and certain programs offer placement assistance and direct company referrals, we do not guarantee employment. Landing a job depends on your individual effort, interview performance, portfolio quality, and current market conditions. Our commitment is to provide the infrastructure, curriculum, and network to give you the highest possible probability of success.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Empire Platforms LLP, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; and (iii) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the jurisdiction of Maharashtra, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
